Shall we first take a look at the history and working policies of ACN Inc and judge the feasibility of this job?

· ACN – A brief introduction

This company was founded in Farmington Hills, Michigan by four businessmen, Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Mike Cupisz and Tony Cupisz in 1993 to offer local and long distance telephones, internet, wireless, satellite TV with DirecTV and Home Security. The company adopts MLM system to sell their products,tha is by hiring representatives to promote products and engage more reps. ACN supposedly has a MLM payment system that’s unmatched in the industry; distributors get to earn a residual income.

· How do you earn in ACN?

As a rep in ACN, your payment is a percentage on your customer’s usage value according to your level. Since your income is a percentage on your client’s usage value, you keep earning till the client uses ACN’s products. So once you’ve closed a deal, your client just has to use the service you’ve sold to allow you to earn.. Are you tempted? Rethink that!

· Criticisms

Just think. If this prospect were really as good as claimed, wouldn’t the company be flooded with reps?

1. The payout offered is minimal. This is because the company cannot afford to pay more in an industry with such high rivalry.

2. You’ll have to make an investment of $499 to join.

3. Though you get a commission based on your customer’s usage, it’s payable only when the minimum usage is $10000.

4. As a previous employee pointed out, you earn more in ACN by recruiting people than by selling products.

5. ACN training consists of “warm marketing” which is your friends and family for the core of your business. In a few days, you’ll find that this market is not warm anymore.

· What should you do now?

Don’t quit. These criticisms don’t mean ACN Inc is a wasted venture.

Be creative to make the most of this business. Project yourself to a global audience and reach people who are outside your warm market.
