The profits and merits of social networking
You should not say or do anything in your social networking ( Public Relations Melbourne ) activities that you do not want public. You must realize that nothing on the internet is private. This applies even if your profile is private. For example ,i worked on a situatioin where the palintiff told his facebook friends to lie to the EEOC and say that he was fired for the reason of his match. The applicant site is privately owned and led him to believe that private communications were.
They were not. The EEOC deliminated the incident when it saw the plaintiffs Facebook page. You shouldn’t say or do anything that you don’t wish to be publicly useable ,since your information or communications can be received by present or potential employers, coworkers, recruitment agencies, government and law enforcement agencies, among others.
You should assume that your employer is monitoring your social networking ( PR agency ) activities. It would be fairly tough for an employer to operate the social networking campaigns of all its employees. However, operating under the assumption that your employer is monitoring your activities will help you to avoid behavior that could get you fired. That tipped may have saved a National Suisse employee’s job. Earlier this year, said an official of the Swiss National manager, had a migraine that prevented them from his computer. National Suisse ( Publicity PR ) allowed the woman to take a sick day to recuperate. Once home, the woman logged onto Facebook.
Going Green at work doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to build a new building out of used tires, or get all new energy saving computer and office equipment. It is possible to work towards carbon neutrality without breaking the bank, and then supplement your efforts with cost-effective carbon credits.
