How To Use Google Or Google Adwords With Magento Ecommerce

Magento commerce is really quite a rage in today’s market.

So why is Magento commerce so popular?

Online retailers use Magento Ecommerce shopping cart programs to get their wares to a market. A Magento store that is correctly deployed provides a slick piece of art for visitors to enjoy.

However, therein is a problem.

You can build the best Website in the world but it is of little to no value without a targeted traffic flow.

Thankfully there are technologies like Google and Adwords which are specifically designed to get a message to people in a most powerful way.

Google Adwords is built on a platform of paid advertising which can also be defined as PPC or pay per click advertising. You place an ad on Google’s network and each time someone clicks that ad you pay for their visit to your Website. If you do it right Google Adwords can be a very powerful tool, done wrong it can be very expensive instead.

This expense with Google Adwords can be avoided.

One of the best ways to avoid losing your shirt financially is by using search engines like Google instead. In a nutshell, a person decides what type of keyword terms they want to show up for and then make sure to be found there. Sound easy? It’s not. It is a scientific art form that brings organic free rankings to people’s marketing efforts.

To do so a person must focus on varying aspects of all of the following:

  • Heading tags (H1 & H2)
  • Linking (Internal and external)
  • Title tags (page, graphics & textual links)
  • Meta tags (keywords and descriptions)
  • URL naming conventions (Domain, folder & file names)

There are those that believe the most important ingredient from the above list is back linking.

I would disagree.

It’s not that I don’t believe proper linking strategies work. However, considering it a only matter of importance is an error in my opinion. A case against me would be a recent project that I achieved 60+ keyword phrases on front pages of major search engines in less than 3 months all without a lick of on-page SEO.

I would suggest that the main thing people neglect in building linking campaigns is optimizing a “title” tag into their link strategy.

Many don’t even realize that they can do this.

Let’s take a look.

Let’s say a keyword I want to target is “magento commerce”

To hard code this link you would use an A HREF tag while having proper “<” brackets connected.

Without those funky brackets above here is how it would look.

A HREF=”htt…”>Magento Commerce</A

What is missing from the code above is a “title” tag that I have worked into the code below.

A HREF=”htt…” title=”Magento Commerce”>Magento Commerce</A

This single addition increases the value of my code at least double or more if a keyword phrase happens to be found in my URL too. Getting the most bang for your buck on all of your links will help you succeed online within Magento Ecommerce or whatever Website you are promoting. That’s why finding the traffic you need from your marketing efforts becomes much easier when you come to know Google and Adwords.

I hope the above information will be of great use to all your Google and Adwords campaigns as Google and Adwords can be a critical part of success on the Web no matter if you are promoting a Magento Ecommerce shopping cart program or not.
